TUNIS, Tunisia: Cargo Wings Express plans to start scheduled cargo flights to Europe from 25 October, 2026.
TUNIS, Tunisia
- Having obtained Third Country Operator (TCO) authorisation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on 9 October 2026, Cargo Wings Express (CWE) now plans to start scheduled cargo flights to the block.
- From 25 October 2026, the Tunisian cargo start-up will operate daily flights from Tunis-Carthage to Liege (LGG) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
- Additional weekly frequencies to Tripoli-Mitiga (MJI) will follow.
- CWE says it chose these two European gateways given Liège is a major e-commerce intermodal hub while Paris CDG offers Tunisian manufacturers direct access to long-haul freight networks.
- The carrier currently operates two 737-300SF freighters on flights around Africa. It also possesses an Emirati operating permit.
