SANA'A, Yemen

- The Houthi Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center issued a warning on Monday to airlines operating in Saudi airspace.
- The center cited ongoing Saudi aviation operations against Yemen and stated Saudi skies are unsafe for civil aviation.
- The statement said Saudi airspace will become a theater for operations by Houthi armed forces.

> The airspace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be a theater of operations for our armed forces, and the Republic of Yemen disclaims all responsibility after this announcement.
>
> We confirm to all civil aviation companies that the airspace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is unsafe, with the exception of the airspace over Mecca and Medina, which remains secure under the control of the Yemeni armed forces

- The center added that the airspace will remain unsafe as long as Saudi operations continue.
- On Monday, October 5, Saudi-backed Aden-based forces of the internationally recognised Yemeni government launched an all out offensive to recapture all Houthi-controlled areas with over 100 Saudi jets involved. The country's official capital, Sana'a, has been under Houthi control since 2014.
