ADEN, Yemen

- Yemeni Minister of Transport Mohsen Al-Haidar Al-Omari announced resumption of Aden International Airport operations on Thursday after a suspension caused by a Houthi militia bombing on Wednesday night.
- Technical teams began urgent repairs and maintenance on the targeted terminal during the minister's field visit despite accompanying risks.
- The minister expressed regret over repeated Houthi attacks on civilian facilities including the airport, its sixth such bombing, that serves travelers from all Yemeni governorates.
- Aden International Airport and other civilian facilities will continue operations and will not yield to attacks serving external plots to destroy state institutions, the minister added.
- Flights were rescheduled and reorganized with circulars issued to all airlines for direct operations to and from the airport.
- The Iranian-backed Houthis have repeatedly [warned against the use of Aden airport](https://insideaviation.news/yemen-houthis-hit-aden-airport-with-missile-attack/) claiming it to be a vital logistics conduit for Saudi Arabian forces supporting the internationally-recognised Yemeni government in Aden.
