SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates

- Emirati LCC Air Arabia has signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus.
- The agreement expands the airline’s global distribution reach across Amadeus’s travel seller network.
- Travel partners can serve Air Arabia customers through established workflows.
- The agreement uses a light ticketing model.
- Travel sellers book and manage budget carrier content via standard GDS workflows with direct real-time connection to airline systems.
- Travel sellers access and book Air Arabia content inside the Amadeus environment on the same screen as other content.
- Air Arabia flies more than 20 million passengers annually.
- The airline serves more than 200 routes from six hubs in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Egypt, and Pakistan. It recently launched its Saudi carrier, a joint venture between Air Arabia Group, Nesma Group and Kun Holding, using Dammam as its primary base.
