# UAE: flydubai Outlines Initial 737 Freighter Network from October 2026

- flydubai plans to launch freighter operations from October 2026 using Boeing 737-800 aircraft wet-leased from SolitAir.
- Three aircraft enter service from 01OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Chennai – Hanoi – Delhi – Dubai al Maktoum operates once on 19OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Doha operates twice weekly from 01OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Erbil operates twice weekly from 04OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Kabul – Delhi – Dubai al Maktoum operates once weekly from 10OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Karachi operates three times weekly from 01OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Kuwait City operates three times weekly from 02OCT26.
- Dubai al Maktoum – Sulaymaniyah operates twice weekly from 01OCT26.
- Each flight provides 23,000 kg main-deck payload.
- Capacity supplements belly-hold on 98 Boeing 737 passenger aircraft.
- The Emirati carrier will use the wet-lease to evaluate acquiring its own passenger-to-freighter aircraft from 2029.
