SOUTH SUDAN: Kiir Replaces Head Of Civil Aviation Authority, Transport Minister

JUBA, South Sudan

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has removed Dr. Ayiei Garang Deng as Director General of the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority and appointed Mosety Kat Monyngok in his place.
Kiir dissolved the transitional government and appointed a caretaker administration ahead of South Sudan's December 22 general elections.
Undersecretary in the Ministry of Transport, Paul Dhel Gum, was appointed Acting Minister of Transport.
Kiir relieved First Vice President Riek Machar Teny and vice presidents James Wani Igga, Taban Deng Gai, Hussein Abdelbagi Akol and Rebecca Nyandeng Garang.
