  • Houthi forces have confirmed that on 14 October 2026, they carried out further attacks on Saudi territory targeting Aramco facilities in Dhahran, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and an Aramco refinery in Riyadh.
  • The operation used ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones and achieved "precise hits that caused destruction and fires at the sites", they said.
  • Saudi Arabia has so far not commented on the renewed attacks on Riyadh airport. NOTAM A3604/26 issued 12 October and due to expire on 17 October says only that the airfield is closed to all traffic as a "precautionary measure".
  • The Houthis strikes responded to 2,281 Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks on Sana'a and liberated provinces during the recent escalation.
  • The Houthis stated that operations inside Saudi Arabia will continue in coming days against airports and oil facilities, and warned international shipping companies, citizens and employees at the targeted airports and companies to evacuate immediately as the sites are now legitimate targets.
  • The Houthis have previously claimed all airports in Saudi Arabia, barring Jeddah (which serves Mecca) and Medina, are targets.
  • Operations will continue under the principle of siege for siege and escalation for escalation until "Saudi aggression ends and the siege on Yemen is lifted", they said.
