SAUDI ARABIA: Flynas and Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Sign MOU for Domestic Umrah Services
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia
- Flynas and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah signed a memorandum of understanding on services for domestic Umrah pilgrims during the launch of the fourth edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum in Jeddah.
- The signing was attended by Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah and Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Hajiri, CEO of Commercial Affairs for the Hajj and Umrah sector.
- The document was signed by Ziad bin Saeed Shata, Vice President of Holidays at Flynas, and Abdulmohsen bin Abdulrahman Al-Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Umrah and Ziyarah Affairs.
- The MoU sets a cooperation framework to improve Umrah services via digital platforms and to identify joint work areas.
- Both parties will support the Umrah Al-Dakhel initiative to give domestic pilgrims more flexible options through digital solutions.
- Flynas operates more than 2,000 weekly flights to over 80 destinations in 38 countries on 156 routes and has carried 110 million passengers since 2007.
- The airline targets 165 destinations in line with Vision 2030 and is the first carrier listed on the Saudi main market Tadawul.
