QATAR: Lesha Bank To Acquire 33-Aircraft Portfolio From Lessor Avolon

DOHA, Qatar

• Avolon and Lesha Bank signed a sale and purchase agreement covering a portfolio of 33 commercial aircraft.
• The aircraft are leased to 25 airlines worldwide.
• Lesha Aviation Services will manage the portfolio after closing.
• Lesha Bank's managed fleet will exceed 75 aircraft upon completion.
• Lesha Bank, formerly Qatar First Bank, is the first independent Shariah-compliant bank authorised by the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority and listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange.
• Lesha Aviation Services specialises in long-term leasing of passenger and cargo aircraft, including Airbus A350, Airbus A320, and Boeing 787-9 types.
• In June, LAS successfully completed the 100% acquisition of Amedeo Air Four Plus Limited (AA4+), absorbing 12 widebodies into its fleet.
