LIBYA: Air Algérie selects Libyan Ground Handling Services Co. for Tripoli handling

MITIGA, Libya

• Libyan Ground Handling Services Company has signed agreement to provide ground handling services to Air Algérie for its upcoming flights to Tripoli.
• Air Algérie resumes 2x weekly direct flights from Algiers to Tripoli Mitiga on 28 October after nearly a decade-long suspension.
• Libyan Ground Services also provides handling to EgyptAir, Royal Jordanian, Flycham, Syrianair, Air Cairo, 4 Airways, AeroItalia, Afriqiyah, Libyan Airlines, Libyan Express, and Petro Air.
• Aside from LGSC and Gulf Handling Services (GHS), both of which provide comprehensive passenger, ramp, and cargo services for commercial and private operators at Mitiga, other groundhandling firms include Galaxy Aviation Services (GAS), JetMate Aviation, and North Aviation Services offer specialized ground support, refueling, and VIP handling. Additionally, Libyan Handling & Aircraft Maintenance Services (LAAHC) provides technical maintenance and multi-hub ground logistics across the region.
