IRAQ: Iraqi Airways set to Resume Iran Flights
BAGHDAD, Iraq
- Iraqi Airways will resume direct flights to Iran from October 8, 2026.
- The carrier will operate daily services from Najaf Al-Ashraf International Airport to Mashhad, Tehran, and Isfahan.
- The resumption is part of Iraqi Ministry of Transport efforts to reactivate air transport links with regional destinations.
- Having secured a US exemption, Iranian airlines, with the exception of Mahan Air, have already resumed flights to Najaf, Iraq.
