# EGYPT: Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Signs Memoranda Of Cooperation With ACI, Aeroportos De Moçambique

ABUJA, Nigeria

- The Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation signed two memoranda of cooperation with ACI Africa and Aeroportos de Moçambique during the 35th ACI Africa General Assembly in Abuja from 19 to 25 September.
- Engineer Ayman Fawzi Arab said the agreements expand African partnerships and draw on mutual expertise for airport development, management efficiency, operations and human capacity building.
- The partnerships strengthen technical and institutional cooperation with African counterparts and exchange knowledge on digital transformation and modern technologies.
- The ACI Africa memorandum covers staff development through professional training programmes, executive and technical training in in-person, virtual or blended formats, and access to accredited professional certificates.
- The ACI Africa memorandum also supports passenger experience improvements via the Airport Service Quality programme, passenger initiatives, performance monitoring, KPI development, service quality governance models and benchmarking against African and international airports.
- The Aeroportos de Moçambique memorandum targets bilateral partnership, transfer of Egyptian expertise in airport management and operations, technical and engineering cooperation, infrastructure development and exploration of further aviation sector opportunities.
- The Aeroportos de Moçambique memorandum includes support for operations and safety through Safety Management System implementation per ICAO standards, safety procedure development, airside staff training, Follow-Me Services best practices and regulatory compliance.
