# EGYPT: Egyptian Airports Company to grow Hurghada, Red Sea demand; Sky Dive to build CCE hangar

- Pilot Wael El Nashar, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Company, discussed with Bandar Al Muhanna, CEO and Managing Director of Flynas, opportunities to expand the company’s operations across Egyptian airports. The discussions resulted in enhancing operations at Hurghada International Airport with daily flights throughout the year, in addition to seasonal operations from the Capital International Airport during the winter season, which supports the growth of air traffic and expands travel options for passengers.
- Al-Nashar also discussed with representatives of Nile Air plans to increase operating rates at Egyptian tourist airports, especially Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada airports, in order to boost travel to major tourist destinations and support the utilization of available operational capabilities at the airports.
- A contract was also signed with Sky Dive to build a hangar at the Cairo Capital International Airport (CCE) to conduct air sports activities, in a move aimed at diversifying the activities and services related to the airport and maximizing the benefit from its operational capabilities.
