# EGYPT: EgyptAir Receives EGP350mn In State Support in 1H2026

CAIRO, Egypt

- EgyptAir received EGP 350 million (USD 6.7 million) in direct financial support from the government as part of the Egyptian Export Development Fund's export subsidy package.
- The Export Development Fund disbursed EGP 19.37 billion (USD 370.7 million) in the first half of 2026 to support exporters and settle dues.
- The disbursements included EGP 7.28 billion (USD 139.3 million) for immediate payment of dues prior to July 1 2024 to 1,970 companies plus EGP 3.9 billion (USD 74.6 million) via electronic clearing with taxes, customs and insurance.
