- Audits took place 20-24 September 2026 over three days.
- Reviews covered flights to New York, Washington, New Jersey, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
- Audits examined cargo and mail security at EgyptAir Cargo complex, catering security at EgyptAir Ground Services, passenger and baggage screening, aircraft protection and anti-interference measures.
- Chairman Ahmed Adel stated the outcome shows the efficiency of EgyptAir security systems and ability to meet US requirements.
- Security sector head Ismail Safwat said the audits confirmed advanced procedures, staff competence and sustained compliance beyond audit periods.
