# ALGERIA: Air Algérie Traffic Rises 6% in 1H 2026

ALGIERS Algeria

- Air Algerie carried 4,313,192 passengers in 1H 2026, up 6% from 1H 2025 and equal to 92% of targets.
- Regular passenger traffic rose 7%.
- Asia network offer grew 349% and passengers carried grew 287% after launch of Algiers-Guangzhou and Algiers-Kuala Lumpur at three weekly each.  
Algiers-Beijing frequency increased to three weekly.
- Africa network offer rose 83% and traffic rose 36% after new lines Algiers-Abuja-Douala, Algiers-N’Djamena-Douala, Algiers-Addis-Ababa-N’Djamena at two weekly each and Algiers-Johannesburg at three weekly.
- Algiers-Nouakchott and Algiers-Dakar Blaise Diagne each gained one weekly frequency.
- Europe offer rose 9%; France offer rose 8% and traffic rose 4% with 1,637,151 passengers, 38% of total.
- New European routes from 1 December 2025: Algiers-Strasbourg and Algiers-Nantes at two weekly; two additional Algiers-Charles de Gaulle and two additional Algiers-Lyon.
